Hiba Khodr has a PhD degree in Public Administration and Public Policy from Florida State University.
Hiba Khodr has a PhD degree in Public Administration and Public Policy from Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida. She is an Associate Professor at the American University of Beirut and has served as the Chair of the Department of Political Studies and Public Administration . She is currently a Visiting Associate professor at Doha Institute for Graduate Studies. Her main research interests are focused on public administration and public policymaking in the MENA region, studying the process and participants and providing recommendations for bridging policy and research to generate a more effective and efficient evidence-based policy. She has several publications in peer-reviewed journals on a variety of topics including Education city in Qatar and Administrative reform in the Arab World. Currently, she is conducting research on counterterrorism and preventing violent extremism (PVE) policies in the GCC.
